Friends of RSME
RSME started in 1984 when some enterprising local people started to build a track around the old school. It has since developed over the years into a society that owns an intensive fully signalled, double track, triple guage (7 ¼”, 5″ and 3½”) miniature railway. The railway is seen at its most realistic best during the ‘Mainline Rallies’ held each year.
The objective of ‘Friends of RSME’ is to support the work of the society by assisting in providing the monetary means for maintaining and running the railway.
We believe that there are a number of people, who although not members, do enjoy visiting with their families, assisting at rallies, and would like to support RSME by becoming a ‘Friend.’
Why not take this opportunity to help support the work of RSME, both now and for the future, by joining ‘Friends’ today? Annual membership for individual ‘Friends’ is currently £25 per year and entitles members to the RSME newsletter which will keep you up to date with what is happening. Every pound donated will be spent on the improvement and maintenance of the railway.
